God –True Happiness
by A. Janeen Quillman
There comes a time in everyone’s life
When we stop to look around
And consider what life is all about.
Can true happiness be found?
We question our very existence
And wonder what lies ahead.
Our minds are filled with confusion.
Our hearts are filled with dread.
But God, your Father, wants you to know
He made you one of a kind.
Even before the day you were born
He planned your life in His mind.
Each day He gave for a purpose, and
Each night He gave for sound rest,
That trusting Him as your Father
He would never fail your test.
So He made a way no man could make
For your new life to begin.
He sent His Son Jesus Christ
To redeem you from your sin.
This gift of salvation is given to you
When you truly repent and believe.
Your trust in God will begin to grow,
And His blessings you’ll begin to receive.
The world may offer many things,
But the truth of the matter is this:
It’s the love of God within your heart
That will bring you true happiness.

Who Am I Lord?
by Charles Robey
Who am I Lord?
That you left Glory's hallowed hall
For to conquer earth's sinful evil fall
Who am I Lord?
That you brought peaceful good will
For my anxious spirit You did still
Who am I Lord?
That by Your eternal saving grace
For by faith I'll have a resting place
Who am I Lord?
That You sent the heaping cloven fire
For the Holy Spirit to my soul transpire
Who am I Lord?
That now I may always witness for You
For by assurance other souls to renew
Who am I Lord?
That someday I will meet You in the air
For by trust Your Glory I will declare
Who am I Lord?
