Have you ever felt like everything around you is falling apart? Perhaps the cares of the world has taken a toll on your life to the point you no longer care or want to walk in the Love of God and you lost your first love you had for Him.
Have you ever cried out: "Father, help me! Please restore the joy of my salvation in my life!"
You're not alone………….
Remember the childlike faith you once had when you were born again and became a newborn babe in Christ? Remember the joy in your life and the smile on your face when God lifted your burdens completely and you felt like a new person? Remember how little you felt when you first saw His greatness and what He did for you when you were born again? My dear friend, that was a time of unspeakable joy and full of glory!
Now, don't let the enemy rob you of that joy you once had…
Don't lose heart.
Take yourself back to when you first accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior...recall how totally you surrendered yourself into His loving care. A time of releasing all your fears, doubts, concerns, and anxieties into His loving arms and be refreshed and new again by the simplicity that is only attained by letting Him take your every care.
I remember a song that was written by Barney Elliott Warren who lived and died not far from where I live today. He penned a beautiful song that many of us grew up singing in our traditional Church services.
I have found His grace is all complete,
He supplieth ev’ry need;
While I sit and learn at Jesus’ feet,
I am free, yes, free indeed.
Refrain
It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,
Full of glory, full of glory,
It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,
Oh, the half has never yet been told.
I have found the pleasure I once craved,
It is joy and peace within;
What a wondrous blessing! I am saved
From the awful gulf of sin.
Refrain
I have found that hope so bright and clear,
Living in the realm of grace;
Oh, the Savior’s presence is so near,
I can see His smiling face.
Refrain
I have found the joy no tongue can tell,
How its waves of glory roll!
It is like a great o’erflowing well,
Springing up within my soul.
I can't help of thinking of 1 Peter 1:8 when I read the lyrics to this lovely song written so long ago….
"Though now ye see Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory." 1 Peter 1:8
The Words in this short verse tells us that it is God's will for you to live and walk with joy in your heart. Romans 14:17 also describes the presence of joy in our daily Christian walk like this: For the kingdom of God is not food and drink; but righteousness and peace and JOY in the Holy Spirit.
Now, meet the Grace of God and receive the Grace which is so freely given, and with it a release from your burdens that has kept you from the peace and joy which is your inheritance as a child of God.
Walk in the love of God with peace, joy and understanding in your heart….. That can only be obtained through Jesus Christ………..
Heavenly Father, Thank You for granting me the privilege of serving you. It is such an honor and privilege to be one of your Children…
Thank you for your loving grace and mercy you have for me. Give me the understanding and courage to love you with my whole heart know matter what happens in my life. I will always stay focus on you Lord and will always remember how much you love me. Don't let me give only what is convenient, but teach me to be truly pleasing to You.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
